Individually Together

July 4 2015

I made it successfully to Montana and this is my third day at the base. I have loved every second of my time here and am so excited to spend the next 6 weeks here.
There are 19 in the summer programs and thirteen in the dance program. There is other schools going on so there are about 60 students here from all around America and the world.

Never before have I been around people so similar to me. Now don’t get me wrong we are all not the same, we are from all over the world, big cities and mountain towns, Costa Rica and Switzerland. We have students who have been a part of a gang and been in prison. We are people who have grown up in Christian homes and homes who’ve Jesus name was never spoke. We have people who are ages 15-24.

So no we are definitely not all the same. However, all 19 of us are bound together by a love of Jesus and a desire to worship him and make him known to the nations. When you all have that, the differences don’t matter.

Our theme is Individually Together based on John 17.22-23,
“I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me”

All 19 of us are Individually Together.
