Can we talk about “taboo” topics?

Can we start talking about “taboo” topics?

Can we talk about how many people try to commit suicide? I know more than a dozen people who have tried. Why is this such a common occurrence among the youth?

Can we talk about how the majority of people who get raped are by someone the victim is familiar with (a family or friend…)? Making it even harder for them to seek out help.

Can we talk about young people who have no permanent housing and would rather live on the street than with their family?

Can we talk about if you are poor in a city, a gang is the place to be?

Can we talk about how parents abuse their innocent children? How children under the age of five get raped? Seriously who does that?

Can we talk about families forcing children to move around so much, they were never able to form any quality relationships or friendships?

Can we talk about how if you have insurance, you are not guaranteed access to healthcare because the majority of quality places reject government insurance?

Can we talk about the mess of the economy and world my generation is going in to?

Can we talk about the massive amount of debt the United States is in?

Can we move on from talking about these issues to actually eradicating them?
